C&C Needed And Some Help

This is a picture of my son I took and I like the subject of course lol and the set up but the way the lighting is hitting his face bothers me, half of him is dark because of where the light was. I don't use any kind of artificial lighting, this was just where the window was and just how he turned, and he refused to face any other way :mad2:

Anyways, can it be saved? Feel free to make adjustments and repost how you got there.

very careful masking could help, or a subtle shadow increase adjustment. fwiw I think the lighting on his face looks fine.
