In a Building
Hi,

Re: In a Building
I like this picture, I like the light and the vertical and horizontal line elements everywhere, even on the floor!
I think it might look better cropping some of the roof, because it is a bit dark and it has no lines, which seems to be the recurring theme.

Re: In a Building
I would agree to cropping a bit of the top of the image, as it's not important and does not strengthen your flowing lines. Other than that, good job!

Yoyo,
Nice shot - I would agree with the other on cropping the top.

Re: In a Building
This is a really neat picture. The man walking with the briefcase really makes it for me. I think you have really captured the scale of this enormous area inside the building. Personally I like the top part of the picture and wouldn’t change a thing.

Re: In a Building
Hello Yoyo
I love this one. Great sense of cavernous space! You've captured it well and the man definitely makes the shot!
Two things: 1.) cropping the top doesn't do much for me, as that's where my eyes go to reveal the cavernous sense in this image. However I do recommend cropping a tad off the bottom as it is very bright and competes for attention from the darker center of the frame. Also, cropping the brighter portion of the bottom makes the man seem smaller in the space to me.
2.) On my screen, there is a "shift" in the concrete that seems like a mistake. Either the architecture actually jogs like that, you may have done something digitally, or my browser is not loading the image properly. Let me know which :)
Oh, and in looking at it longer, you may want to dodge (make lighter) the escalater and ceiling as they are darker compared to the rest of the screen.
Nice!

Re: In a Building
Hi,
Thanks for all the suggestions. Rick, I guess the shift is due to the lens distortion.
All the best.
