Broken Lamp

I just got a new SLR and went to test it out. This picture is from the second roll of film through the camera. It's one of my favorites so far. What do you think?

Pretty cool image--I like the the wires just hanging down--in particular the one leading to the bottom-center of the image. If you wanted to get into editing of this image there's quite a bit you could do.. The range of variation in the sky's colors help make it more interesting. Try some different stuff with levels or curves and see what you come up with. The only thing I'd watch for is not making the halos from the lighting around the globes too apparent. I've attached two quick examples, but once you start messing with it yourself you'll see there's a million ways you could go with it and come up with one better than mine i'm sure.
As far as the photo itself that florescent light could be cool if you were to mess around with shooting some more--messing around with patterns and all, sort of using it as a subject for being different if that makes sense.
