I like the OOF setting, and I wish there were a way to make the entire setting OOF, with the bride and groom the only sharpness in the image. (I don't know how you'd do that, but I think it would be a nice effect.)
As for this image, my only dislike is no faces. If she were leaning back just far enough to not obscure his face, and looking about the same direction he's looking.....
I like faces in wedding pics because those are the pics that someday, someone is going to find, and wonder who they are.
The late afternoon light is great, the off-center subject is nice, the rest of the party unidentifiable in the background. I like all of it, except the no faces.
Looks like a neat place for a photo! Beautiful scene but I find the OOF rigging in the center somewhat distracting.
I agree! It was hard to position myself so you can see the boat in the background and the bride and the groom and you don't see the rigging. I have tried to blur it out as much as possible.
