    First waterfall

    My first waterfall... I didn't have time for the sun to rise any more, I hope it's position does not ruin the picture.

    Re: First waterfall

    Well it seemed a tad dark to me so I lightened it up just a tad... what do you think about this?

    I like it. It has a simple majesticness that almost makes me wish I had a poster of it on my wall or something, =)

    All that is gold does not glitter,
    Not all those who wander are lost;
    The old that is strong does not wither,
    Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
    From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
    A light from the shadows shall spring;
    Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
    The crownless again shall be king.

    Re: First waterfall

    this is a very nice shot, and i like the waterfall itself, ive never really seen one like that. one thing kinda is strange to me, its the straight "horizon" line on the water. It seems so abrupt. Maybe try cropping it out? or, if you can, go for a reshoot and climb a tree or something to get a different angle. Other then that i think its real nice, good exposure and stuff. Sweet job.

    Thank you for your reply Euphoria, I tried to lighten it some too, I'm just not sure how I like the water that is 'falling' in the picture... I wish I could keep the look of the falling water along with the other parts of the image being lightened.

    Thank you Mark for your reply, I missed it earlier (we posted too close together).
