    Boston, framed

    Hi,

Went out before work today and took this picture of the Boston skyline between two little boats. It is a pretty gloomy day, which is both good and bad. Good because during hot days you often can't see the skyline from here. Bad because the lighting is kind of flat.

    Thoughts?

Nice frame. I'd like to see a bit more room at front of left boat.

I'm guessing that some will say to crop out the waves at bottom. I like it both ways.

I like the waves, but yeah, I'd say crop them out in the name of minimalism.

And the lighting is flat, but I might try to do something - I don't know what - to increase the contrast and push everything toward over-exposure.

I think the idea is terrific. I wish the skyline was a bit more prominent (stand farther back and shoot with a bit more telephoto) and that the weather was less gloomy. But the model name of the boats is nice touch.
