Just curious...how do you go about doing something like that on photoshop? It looks great...I like the soft sepia tone with the brilliant blue.

get 2 layers of the base image, choose bottom one and make it sepia. then select 2nd layer which should be above the sepia one. select the pupil bit however you want, invert the selection and delete. this leaves just the pupil on top of the sepia, then play around with color balance, saturation, hue etc. until it looks cool

Very nice and crisp for an eye shot. You've got the DOF just right. The blue is nice and vivid yet it doesn't look over saturated. Overall... Very well done.

About the only cirt I can give is it looks like the blue of the iris should extend just a hint more out in the 4:30 position... it looks like a bit of the sepia is creeping in there.

    yeah, I know =/
I had a bit problem to make the fading between sepia/blue to work out.

and... whats DOF? I'm not familiar with the terms yet, I'm quite a noob ^^

To make a suggestion, the background: particularly the line shadows distract from your subject: the eye. I would do something about it with Photoshop.

All in all a very creative shot, nicely done. I am just learning PS so am anxious to try the technique I have seen in the various comments. DOF= Depth of Field. You did well.
