    Tatoosh Island

Hey guys. Jut got back from Alaska. What a fun trip. I would definitely recommend the experience to those who haven't gone. Got a lot of great shots too! Here's one from when I went Kayaking in Ketchikan:

    Device: Nikon D60
    Lens: VR 18-55 F/3.5-5.6
    Focal Length: 18mm
    Aperture: F/10
    Shutter Speed: 1/250s
    Metering Mode: Matrix
    Sensitivity: ISO 200
    Nikon D60
    15-55 VR Nikkor
    55-200 VR Nikkor
    50mm Nikkor

Good scenic that shows the great expanse of the area. It appears that the background horizon is tilted, but since the foreground land is straight, I guess it's just the earth's natural curvature. The kayaks in the foreground create a nice contrast to the gray/blue of the clouds and water, but I think they are a tad oversatured and would tone it down just a notch. Good one.

The overall muted tones and deep saturation of the colorful kayaks is very pleasing and gives the viewer a real sense of the land you were exploring. If I had a nit it would be there is a bit more sky than I want to see. A slight top crop of the less colorful and lest dramatic part of the sky would improve the image in my view.
Don't forget about the Gallery. Are your photos there??

I think you should crop some of the bottom uncentering the horizon and then clone the remainder of the Kayak sticking half way out of the frame. Looks like you had fun.
