Blue Lakes

Took a trip into Blue Lakes today outside my home town - didn't get a good shot of the waterfall as it was a distance away - will hike back in there in a few weeks and make my way to the bottom instead.

Here are some shots from the day, sky was not good but did what I could - thoughts appreciated.

Nice shots Maddawg aqnd what a beautiful location. I especially like the closeup of the bough with the difference in color in the new growth. A curves adjustment can give you some more seperation from background and a bit more differentiation in color.
I also like the first shot but would suggest cropping to just above the mountains and a curves adjustment to make it a bit less flat.
