I took this in a science lab storeroom that was dimly lit from the left by bright outdoor light shining through heavy red blinds, of all things, so the whole room was a weird red/pink. Fortunately, strong, natural daylight struck the main subject from the right through a small window high over a side door. I liked the combination, although the 300D reduced the redness automatically.
It was all very pale, lighter than a mid-tone, so I overexposed and checked the histogram to make sure I hadn't gone too far.
I'll not bore you, but I worked at the image (TIFF from a hi-res JPEG - I don't go in for RAW) for around 2 hours to get it just the way I wanted. I had a 15x10 print made without interpolation.
