Very good. Has a good story to tell. Nice tones. Wish it had a little shallower DOF so the fellow in the back would not be as sharp ...seems to distract a little bit ...but, I like it as is.

    Re: " bid !! "

You have got the auctioneer in a pretty good position, with an interesting hand gesture. You have also captured enough of the surroundings (mainly the sheep) to give the auction a context. The main problem I think is the auctioneer with the hat. If anything he looks like more of a character and the eye keeps going to him. Perhaps a little blurring?

    Cheers

Lewpicsct and Mike thanks, the auctioneer in the background does indeed detract, so I'llhave to have a go at him and repost.

Good one pete. I'd have to disagree with the others. I like the auctioneer with the hat. Your subject, the hat guy and the guy in the distance form a nice trifecta for your image. I like it as is.

Thanks Liban, to be honest I never noticed the three overlapping gentlemen.

I agree. Blurring the guy in the hat may be more of a distraction. The way it is your eyes flow through the entire image.

    Good one.

opinions divided on this so far , so I thought I'd try it and see what happened. The far background has more lens blur than the area behind the fence.
