I agree with Alison; definitely a gorgeous shot. The colors are strong and the shot is nice and crisp. My only problem with these type of shots are that eventually they hold no meaning except if you know the child. Surely the shot is great, but personally, it's a rather plain portrait. Great touch with the pearls though, well done.

I guess it is plain portraiture to the foreign eye but the family sure loved this.

I'm using the Nikon D50...just got it a few weeks ago. Figured it would be my "learning" camera before I go pro ;-)

Y'know I had a feeling you was going to tell me it was a Nikon. I love the look of Nikon images. I sometimes wonder whether I would have been better off with a Nikon when I see images like this. :cryin:
