    At the beach

I took this picture around 6:00pm because the light was beautiful. Would appreciate your comments.

    Re: At the beach

    Nice light indeed

I imagine this is a long fence? I would have taken it sideways, so it shows how long it is, and at the same time showing more of the beach

you are perpendicular to the fence, and it is right in the middle of the image making the image perhaps not so interesting, the dunes and grass on top of them is good background

I would have climbed over the fence and captured the patterns of the shadows of the fence on the sand, along with the fence fading into the distance, but I'm just guessing how it looks

    excellent exposure

    Re: At the beach

I like the light in the pic as well and exposure seems pretty good to me. I don't like that the right post is cut off - I think it creates a lack of balance. The curves on the dunes are nice. Also, the focus seems a little soft - perhaps due to conversion to low jpg. I would be interested to see what the shot may have looked like if you moved to the right, and ran the fence down wide angle from right all the way to the left side, but with diminishing perspective for a dramatic look ...either way, wish I was there.
