Barbie

I was recently asked to some product photography of a few collectable items that someone was trying to sell. After spending hours tweeking the lights and camera settings I finally managed to get a shot that I was happy with. I have tweaked the shot slighty by adjusting the contrast and cropped it slightly.

Please let me know what you think ... I'm not sure about the shadow around the item.

The box is mostly facing away. Just tent it and face it more towards the camera.

Shadows can also be easily fixed by propping up white cards just out of frame, opposite the main light. It'll fill in the dark spots. They can be as simple as a piece of printer paper folded in half.
