    Barbados Hilton

Some arbitrary shots from around the new Barbados Hilton taken with my Sony DSC T11.

What can I do to prevent pictures from coming out grainy when taken around dusk (and dawn, when I assume the same thing happens)?

    Novice here.

Try the ISO setting on the cam if you can, lower them but you may have to get a tripod for the camera as you will have to use a longer shutter speed if your cam has that capability. You may also want to do some investigation as to the noise level that is typical for your camera.

Most of my settings are usually on auto, but I will start fiddling around. Thanks for the advice.

I like your later image of the yellow tower a great deal, shame you don't have all of the steps in there, great colours!!

    Here you go, Herriot.
It's the lifeguard tower, taken at dusk as well, so some graininess can be seen.
    Thanks for your comment.
