    Bad Mood

The only bright spot on this day of shooting were the clouds.
    C&C please.

    Re: Bad Mood

I like the mood. The photo is a little on the dark side, but I think that goes along with the storm and the clouds. I have always been a sucker for tree branch outlines and I like it. Regarding the comp, I think if you added a wee bit more of the tree to the right, it would have given the photo a stronger composition - with strong feeling of depth going down the "lane" of trees ...

I understand what you were trying to get at here. You probably looked up and saw an amazing scene in the clouds. I've seen similar and felt similar feelings. I've shot it and didn't give it justice. like me, sadly this probably doesn't convey the feeling or the sight you've seen that day.

I personally think it's really hard to capture scenes like that and to reproduce them photographically. I've never done it either. all the amazing clouds i've ever photographed didn't translate. I think it might be a shortfall in our equipment ;) I mean it has to be. lol.

Edit: by amazing clouds, I mean where I look up and think wow. obviously there are scenes that include other elements + amazing clouds, those are easier to capture. And I think that's what's missing here. The other elements.
