    Taken in Marshfield,MA about mid-day...tighter crop than the one posted in VF

    Hello Natalie,

    This is by all means a well composed shot. The quietness of the water leads to a very nice mirror like effect and I think that a square crop was the right choice in that situation.
    Also, the lightning appears especially pleasing to me considering that it was shot in mid-day.

    I like this crop better as well.

    Just as a matter of interest to me, where did you focus in this photo, from your perspective I mean (and I don't mean behind the camera). Which post did you focus on.

    If I remember correctly I focused on the second post back the one on the left past the front one

    and I think it was set at like f/11 , don't remeber the shutter speed at 200ISO WB on overcast(cludy) it was a very overcast day at noon...it had finished raining about an hour before

    Thanks Natalie, just trying to compare that to something I was reading in course material about focusing with a series of poles, wanted to see if it actually was correct in its assumptions.
