I just love that HDR effect and one of these days I will invest in the software. What program do you use or recommend?

This is wonderfully moody and the colour of the flowers against the related colour of the building makes it for me.

    Cheers

I believe he uses photomatix. It is pretty much the only program for merging photos to HDR and tone-mapping. Photoshop CS2 is capable of merging to HDR, but you have to have a seperate plugin for tone-mapping.

Mr Yuck - The only thing I notice about this photo is near the roof of the tan portion of the building. The sky right next to that is a lot lighter compared to the rest and it is a bit off-setting. other than that, beautiful shot.

Yeah, I'm still learning photomatix, I havent quite figured out how to have it not do the halo effect, or maybe there was a patch of blue I didnt notice. I composed this from a pretty low angle, so I couldnt see my lcd or viewfinder. I could burn it out or something, but I really dont feel like it

Quite a dramatic effect there, Yuck. This HDR stuff is going to be something around Halloween.....think of the possibilities
