    Backlit Fuchsia at Sunset (this is not a sunset picture)

    It is an attempt at backlighting, however.

    Great color and detail on the leaf. Not sure about the background but you have to use what mother gives you.

    This is a classic example of why comments are so great. Here I was thinking the background was really good; compliments the leaf, exposier, DOF was pretty good-but you aren't crazy about it. I love to get input, helps expand the thinking.

    CF I would have to agree with you about the top half of the background but the bottom leaf spoils it for me - its a shame its there.

    Other than that nice pic.

    I looked again this a.m. and I guess the only part of the background I'm not keen on is the top right where its so much brighter. The leaf holds attention well enough that its just a nit pick. I'd be proud of it.
