Pretty good job Ivan especially around the sides of the face and hood. The problem area here is the top and sides of the head above ears where the lines look too crisp..it has that cut and paste in look. There are a few ways to tackle that depending on the original image and bg, but from what I see here you may be able to zoom in and softly brush out the edges with a mild blur brush. That should smooth out the lines which are now too crisp and sharp to be natural.
I agree on the crispiness. I'd be curious to see the original. I'm not particularly adept at it, but using the color select method might be an option for allowing some of the fine hairs, or perhaps blurring the bg a tad to give it some separation. I would actually be curious to hear about some of the other methods myself.

Feel free to edit my images for critique, just let me know what you did.
I think the BG goes with the rather intense expresion of your model. The area around the hair needs work as the transittion from hair to BG is a bit harsh.

Isn't it a cool thing in nature that the colours never seem to clash...
Pretty well. The subject and bg have that classic David Hobby strobist look.
As for the cut-out job...
1) The clothing could benefit from some Gaussian Blur (just a tad) at the edges. Too crisp as is.
2) Areas around beard and hair are too obviously cut out. I would blur them and then either select the hair from the original shot with channels (the best way to make hair selections, in my experience) or create a custom hair brush and paint in some hair around the head and beard.
I'd say that I'd like to see more of the right eye, but it actually looks pretty cool as is.
I think you did ok considering you're trying to mask hair! Very tough job. Judging from the look of it, I don't think y ou're using the masking tools to their full extent.
Here's a nice tutorial that might help. Good luck. Masking hair is tough
Very sloppy (I don't have a lot of practice doing this), but hope you get the idea. Compare the area around the beard - original to edit. The head part is a total hack job.
Painted in some hair at the edges and blurred the clothing a little.
If I had the original cutout of you, I would run it through refine edge to take away some of the crispness.
And for the hair and beard... I'd ideally select them from the original file via channels.
