    B & W, then antiqued.

    Took a sports photo and made it B&W then antiqued it.

    Nice action photo. I don't feel the duo tone adds much but it doesn't take away either. It's always good to experiment.

    i agree with previous, not too shabby action shot, not sure if the duo adds anything, but i think duo or at least b & w likely makes it look better than it would in color alone.

    update, the color looked a little funny, so i forced a page reload it wasn't shown properly before. Now have to say I do think I like the duo tone better and it does add to it.

    I don't feel the duotone. The action is nice, but how is the color version?

    Angle and framing are problems here. The angle has given you a cluttered background that distracts from the two players. Unfortunately the ball is cut off at the top and the feet of the player at the bottom right. Shooting basketball is all about chosing the right location for the photographer.

    Black and white with digital by the way does not work very well unless exposure and sharpness of your centre of interest is absolutely perfect and you have the time and knowledge to do considerable post-processing to create an excellent tonal range throughout the image.
