I absolutely love this picture, I love the faded edges, my only critique is I think the colors may be too harsh for the softness in the photo, I tried this in Sepia, aged 35 years and I think that it kept the 'awwww factor' but made it a little more easy on the eyes.
i like this, but as opposed to chow, i'm not a fan of the faded edges. I really like the composition and detail, and my favorite part is the mother's hair draped over the child's head, but the faded edges are too much for me.
I love the vigniette but I'm not so keen on the fact that it has interfered with the babies right eye a little.
Other than that...Your tones, composition and clarity are all wonderful! You have the babies attention and I love the pose! Gorgeous portrait!
I'm with Brent, the faded edges don't work for me. I think if you had left the left hand side just white, it would be fine like that. Still, a beautiful shot and a keeper regardless.
This is beautiful and I would be proud to have taken it. Bet mum and little one are proud to have this framed and hanging in the home.
