    Avian Sunset

I took this in South Africa at the Cape of Good Hope as the sun was about to set/ I think the contrast worked very nicely? Any opinions appreciated.

    Tnx

Unfortunately no picture, but the sounds of this sounds like it's going to be a great one!

Hi Jared, i have to say that made me chuckle. I can just imagine a forum where there are no pictures, only descriptions of pictures to be critiqued . You could start a thread : 'Describe your perfect photo' (that would be incredibly hard)

Sorry for interrupting anyways. Where's the photo??we wanna see the photo!!!

It's a little less visable than I would like to see. But it has a great title...

Ah, that would be quite interesting eh? Describing your photo before you post it! Then if anybody bashes you about composition you can just say "Oh, it is like that" lol! That would be great, maybe it can be a new thread idea

Interesting. The subject of the bird is definately great, but I don't think I would've centered it so much. What I'm presuming is water almost looks like clouds because it's so overexposed, but you kind of get a ontop of the world feeling! The silhouettes on the left you might want to consider cropping out on the right. But other then that, nice shot and a few easy fixes,

    Jared

I see exactly what you mean about the clouds, as for the centreing of the bird, I didnt have much option because I wanted him immersed right in the sunlight. I might have a go at photoshopping those people out.
    Thanks
