    Autumn horse
Here is a retired horse (he is 23 years old according to his owner). I liked the scene but I burned the fences as the light was a bit too harsh.

Beautiful colors Seb. Great composition too! I love all the yellow, reds, and greens, and the fences look great after you PS'ed them!

    Great shot!

i love the idea and the shot, but find that there is so much there, that it takes away from the horse.

This is a pretty picture, Seb. I think though there is too much here and the old horse is getting lost in all the colors. I feel you should have zoomd in on the horse a bit more to the point of losing the structure on the right. Nice shot for the colors and feel.

    Hey Seb,

Beautiful colors! I like the comp, but I agree with Gary, I think the horse is getting lost and needs to fill more of the frame. I do like the structure on the right of the frame tho and I think it adds a lot of depth to the photo.

    Hello guys,

Thanks for commenting. I too got the feeling that the horse was probably too small in the frame. I'll repost a different version tonight when I get back home.

Michael: Thanks for noticing the structure at the right. I enjoyed the depth that it provided but I guess that it will have to go. If I crop say, the extreme left and the bottom to make the horse bigger in the frame while preserving the structure at the right, the horse will be nearly dead center which won't work.

    regards
