The Subway x 2

I would like to use one of this images as part of a southern Utah portfolio but am struggling with which to chose (or, 3rd choice: neither). Any comments relative to helping me work through this would be appreciated. Obviously I am looking for good composition and colours, as well as providing an interesting and descriptive (of the area) image. TIA!

To me, the slow shutter speed (apparently) and the direction (downstream, I think) of the first shot lost the sense of water flow. It wasn't until I saw the second one that I realized the first may be anything but just wet. – TF
