    Ash & Em
Some bamboo at Koreshan State park near Ft Myers Fl. We camped in a tent with our three boys and froze our asses off with low 40 deg weather. :D

I like the color gradient changes in the bamboo, and the lines all draw the eye to the center/top third, but I sorta wish there was something to focus on besides the small black blob below the sharply diagonal stalk. Feeling like this might do better as a square crop coming up from the bottom.

No matter what the temp is, when it drops 30+ degrees overnite, it feels cold!

love the perspective here and the colours are so vibrant and striking. I usually don't like busy shots but this one works for me. good job.

Interesting perspective. Good thing a bamboo shoot didn't grow through you during the night.

thx for everyones responses...for me, this pic was more about the journey than the destination..I liked how the bamboo gave some depth and the change of color into the metallic look.

Oh man, I'd love to have that growing behind my home.
    I like the picture.
Too bad the carver does not know how to spell any better than identify trees.
