    Re: AZ General Store

    Hi PT,

I like this shot. I feel like I'm in the shop myself. On my monitor, though, it looks a little dark. I think that there is some great detail of the clay statue and stuff that you can pull out.

You know, thi reminds me of those "I Spy" books. A collection of objects scattered throughout the frame. I think it works here though. Like Tim said, it is a tad dark here and there, but not overly so. I like the fact that each of the objects are crisp and well defined. I like it very much.

    Re: AZ General Store

I like this shot a lot and I actually disagree with the previous critiques when it comes to how dark it is. I actually think you made a bold choice with keeping the the foreground as dark as you did. The only thing I do feel could improve, however, is that it seems to be lacking a focal point. I don't really feel my eyes being drawn to a main part of the image, therefore I feel like I spend my time scanning it over. That's just me, though, and it could be easily disputed.
    Nice work!

    Very nice analogy Drew!

A beautiful shots, and I love the harsh black tones. Very well composed.

    Nice eye,

    Re: AZ General Store

Drew & Oldschool - I will try to lighten the photo a tad when printing to bring out more detail and give it that "I Spy" feel.

MadCow- I won't lighten too much though The lack of focal point is kinda what I was looking for, because the shop was overwhelming to look at and had so much stuff that is what hard to find a focal point.

Jared - I'm glad your starting to like my harsher blacks tones on some of my recent posts ;)

Thanks for the comments and suggestions on improvement for this photo.
    Cheers.
