The execution is top notch. I really like the water. Have you used a contrast mask to retrieve brightness on the rocks in the foreground? If so, well done! If not, well done anyway... lol

The picture is excellent, no critique there.

However, if your trying to portray a storm then it doesn't work for me. The sea is too smooth. It just looks like a big breaker no more than that.

I think if you are trying to capture the storm then you need the spray coming off the top of the waves and crashing onto the rocks to reflect the force of nature, which means using a higher shutter speed.

After all that the picture is fine as is, just not the right title

That's a keeper for sure. It almost has a tunnel effect. Were you trying to capture cloud movement with the long exposure? What kind of PS work was done? I'm just trying to learn from you pros....

HA by far no pro. I am just getting used to the raw workflow now and it has made a big difference.I worked a lot with this image. White balance I made warmer, exposure adjustment, saturation, contrast mask and some other stuff I can't remember.

Nice. Even w/o a lot of objects to reveal the wind speed, you have enuf visual clues that there's a lot of energy kickin round here. I like the framing too. You should print it out and frame it the same way, see how it looks on the wall!

Thanks guys. This was shot with a Tokina 12-24 @ 12mm on a D70s. There was a little cropping to the bottom side though. I said before the exposure was 8 seconds @F8.
