    Merry

    Go Round.

To me it seems hard to get that great shot of a MGR that is there, waiting to me captured. I doubt this is it, but what do you think? C&Cs welcome.

I really like this shot, very artsy. I have an similar photo like this in one of my coffee table books, I'll have to see if I can find it on the internet and send you the link. Very cool.

It might be pedestrian, but where else are you going to shoot from?

The more I look at it, the more the railing pops out at me.

Still thinking on that.. Maybe from lower, or higher. Or from a long ways away?

What about a rear curtain flash to fill out the little girl on the horse?

I believe I did use a rear curtain flash here to fill them out They would probably be very dark if I hadn't.

    Re: Merry

To me the railing is spoiling the picture. I think a shot from higher up might work, although, how your going to achieve that I don't know, step ladders maybe ? What I like about the picture is the horse or dragon, its mouth and claws particularly. I think I would have tried to shoot earlier to get the horse more front on so it dominated the little girl and mother. Of course this would change the picture completely and might not be what you were looking for at all.
