    Sometimes I really get surprised by the posts that get no comments. This is a really nice black and white image and I really like use of light and the tight crop, works really well in this case. My only criticism is that the male figure has a really striking appearance with bold features, not least of all the lion shirt (!) and the other figure really doesn't share any such elements. Not a major complaint and thanks for sharing!

    Herriot, I think the reason Willem doesn't get the attention he deserves is that most of us do not feel worthy of critiquing his work. Willem is a cut above the rest...well in most cases anyway.

    That being said: This is a very lovely image. I find that the eyes of the lady are somewhat distracting because I want to see more detail and I keep coming back to them trying to see more, but still the image works, and the aspect of the eyes only serves to make me look longer than I may have otherwise.
