    Another brick in the Wall

This one reminds me of Pink Floyd.

You, yes you, stand still laddie..... If you don't eat your meat, you can't have any pudding. How can you have any pudding if you don't eat your meat? :23: My favorite album/cd I'll have that song stuck in my head for at least a week now.

I like the image, it's very simple but I keep looking at it (I like that).

Thanks eveeryboby, This is about halfway up a smoke stack looking up. I leaned out as far as I could to get the picture without risking a fall,LOL. I flipped the picture 180 as we. If you look there is a ladder on the right. I can't imagine climbing up in side this thing.
Pink Floyd is one of my favorite bands too " Mother do you think they will drop the bomb".

Why were you up the chimney

Were you a naughty boy and sent to the corner?

If the ladder is on the right what are you standing on?

If sat and stared at this thinking why do i like it and the only thing that springs to mind is the patterns in the bricks and the colours which wander in and out of the picture.

    I like it

Re: Another brick in the Wall

There is an opening and a breezway leading to it, from the plant, about halfway up. I was standing on the breezway. There is a very small door at the bottom but a fence prevents getting in it. I guess I can forget the pudding for trespassing. It's a wonder someone hasn't gotten killed here.

Re: Another brick in the Wall

Nice abstract shot. I would PP it to add a bit more depth and/or to even out the lighting between the sides, but overall it is a good idea. I esp like how you didnt include any interruptions in the pattern - worked out nice.

This shot might be one that after a little exp adjustment and contrast would be real nice as a very large print/image. Might be worth a burn..

Re: Another brick in the Wall

Thanks GB1 for the great ideas. This place is a tresure trove of photo ops. I can't believe that is wide open an unlocked. The breezway may be a little less than half way up as I stated earlier. There is a picture of the stacks on my site, I have created a whole section just of this plant. I plan to go back when I can. The funny thing about the stacks is that they must be in a flight path for planes heading to Atlanta. I have been there several times and just missed getting a jet in the shot of the stacks, Now that would be Pink Floyd.
