    Feathers

I was playing with these feathers on the table top. I liked the differing colours and textures of each feather. I also played with DOF. Played in photoshop to saturate colour in second photo. (looks a little over done now that I've posted it)

I would be interested on comments about composition DOF colour - you know??????

Any suggestions as to how to make this type of image less static would be appreciated.

I've looked at this a few times and really haven't come up with much to offer. I think one feather mght be more effective and it seesm to me I've seen some interesting thngs done with feathers in B&W with shadows.

I suppose it depends on what you are going for. The colors and detail are nice in the second, but it doesn't look natural. The first looks more natural, but the muted colors don't have as much impact.

Other than that, I'm not really biased towards either one. They seem to need something, but I don't know what....

    I second Adina's opinion...

Also, want to add that I like the second -even if you think you overdid it in PS.

I like the saturation in the second one, but like Adina, I think it needs something... maybe a different color for the background. The detail is great, and the texture shows up very well.

Thanks for the feedback Lava Lamp, adina and FadderUri. Your comments reinforce what I was thinking. Nice but lack impact or context or something???
