    Aluminum Pipe

So me and my friend will were taking architecture pictures at a construction site for a photography class, when we came across this steel pipe and we decided it'd be fun to take pictures inside of it.

and that's what I came out with.

This is a really cool shot. The only thing I wish is that there was a different background for you at the end of the pipe..it's so cluttery compared to the rest of the photo...but I'm not sure how much control you had over that. The reflections and circles are great otherwise.

yeah, the tube was at a construction site and there was tons of mud so it would have been hard and messy to fix the background.

That is cool. Perhaps you can drape some black cloth over the other end of the tube? The tube appears short enough that you have adequate light from the front. But a lack of rear lighting most likely make it too "flat".

Another trick is to have your friend a little closer and going a little wider (if you had it) in order to block more of the background.

Nice job working with what you had.

yea its great. but if you go again, try to keep gravel out of the inside, so that when you take it its clean all through, theres some below your friend

the cloth idea is good, but itd be near impossible to keep it completely clean inside due to the fact that its in mud, and that picture was taken at 18mm on a D50,so i cant afford to go wider lol, but idk id like to try the cloth idea but i doubt that tubes around anymore.

Benji,,so much potential....It is a pity about the distracting background and maybe a tad light...I like the yellow reflection of your friend's shirt contrasting with the shiney metal...Love the surfer pose too...
Go with Loupey's idea of hanging cloth or similar at over the other end of the tube..
Is a reshoot possible??What would be really cool is to move the tube to the beach...
