I like it, but I think a bit more sky and less grass would work better. At least for me.

For the lighting you were dealing with I think you exposed it fairly well. I circular polarizer would have really helped this one.

The extensive foreground grass doesn't really lead ones eye to the tree and I think should be cropped to just below the tree.
