    Great concept but composition and depth of field are problematic. The red bud draws the eye and yet it is out of focus and not the main subject. I would have raised the camera, added water droplets and shot the upper leaf on the diagonal. Wide angle with macro would have helped depth of field and I would have also experimented with flash and a cross screen filter.

    Ahh, springtime green. We dont get this type greenery out west.

    I agree with Ronnoco: The red thingies grab my attention away from the very interesting center water drop. The DOF you used could have worked, but in this shot it just leaves me wanting more. The middle to upper areas of the photo are the best. The foreground, it is hard to tell if it was worth including into the frame because it is blurred out.

    I would guess that you had to use a shallow DOF to prevent camera shake. If so, gotta bring that tripod, even if it's a pain.

    Anyways, good eye in seeing this, but the composition and technical execution are the weak points here. The former can be fixed by a little post-cropping, and the later (as mentioned) by a tripod.
