    Ancient Mixer

I was inspired by an article in Digital SLR Photography magazine. So, suppose I want to make a series of b/w photos of common/old/whatever kitchen items and hang them in the dining room or kitchen. Would a shot like this work? And what can make it work better?

    And.....is it sharp?

I love the concept. I don't like the light reflecting off the countertop in the right hand corner. I'm also not sure of the textured, marbled background. I might like to see a plain background, or one less distracting. The lighting on the mixer itself is cool! Maybe needs a little more lighting toward the top (handle).

Don't know what to do to make it better but to me the subject just doesn't stand out enough.

Also, it may be ancient to you but I still use mine and I don't know how it can be ancient if it has plastic handles:wink5:
