    Some local shots...

I did this in HDRI, thought it was pretty cool the way it came out! This is an abandoned liquor store building, there were wood things set in the foreground, no clue why, but they looked like tombstones to me! Used my Canon Xsi and EFS 10-22 MM lens:

This is the same area, but different groups of buildings, again with HDRI:

And later that night... I head to spring lake, chasing a cloud, the sky was gorgeous but ominous looking!

Not sure how I feel about this one, but the chicken head clouds were neat!

    And lastly...

2, 3, and 6 are great, definitely the ones I like best.

The first, second shots are great abandoned finds, are quite nicely done. That HDR rocks!
Image 6 grabs me..Wow! My suggestion..crop just a tiny bit off the bottom. :O)

As a sidenote suggestion..So many images to look at.
--> In the future...for example.. post shots #1,2 in the same thread.
Image three is a stand alone thread and,the sunset series deserves its own thread as well...per forum guidelines.

Yeah, my internet is wacky today, took me 4 times to post these because I kept getting a timed out error!

I like the 1st, the church and the last one. they're all good though. very nice colours in the sunset pics. I think the church and the last one are the strongest ones out of the bunch.

The first is my favorite. I wish the stoplights weren't in there though. Darn technology everywhere...

    Nice work!

    Re: Some local shots...

I really like the first two shots. This is my first time on the forum and I am strictly a novice, so my opinion doesn't amount to much. I don't know what HDRI is. Is there a glossary somewhere? I couldn't find one.

First off welcome to the site.

And if I'm not mistaken HDRI = High Dynamic Range Imagery.

    Re: Some local shots...

HDRI is when you take 3 photos at different exposure and blend them into one - the result is a very rich and detailed image.

Thanks for the feedback! I appreciate it!
