I have no idea why I am attracted to this image ...any thoughts? Does it work? Pointless?

Seems a bit top heavy , but I like the shallow DOF and the way the main leaf is well lit and sharp.

Probably pointless to most people who were not there. This looks too busy to me. I would either pick one or two leaves to shoot close up, or stand farther away to shoot the whole scene.

I like the back light coming through the leaf. In fact I love that! But the composition doesn't do a whole lot for me. The out of focus stuff at the top is distracting from the part I really like. Cropping out some or a lot of the top might help. Maybe even a 16x9 and if you can get the twig coming out of the corner and leading to the subject that would be good too IMO.
