2 train pictures
hey,
i went out to take some pics of trains at a nearby depot, this was my first time to photograph trains so please feel free to comment or give any tips or tricks about shooting trains.

My prefernece is for the cropped shot, which I get more of a connection with mainly due to the contrasting blue sky. The color is key in this cropped shot.
I also prefer the angle of the shot; it gives me a sense of the size, which is the biggest impression that trains have left me with in the past...so the photo touches my body memory.
I'd like to see the image cropped even more on the bottom, omitting the rails but leaving the wheels, which might make it appear even larger as if pushing through the frame.

I definitely like the new cropped image. It looks so smooth now, like it might slip right out of the frame. Great shot.

I agree to CLKunst. The newly cropped image is better than the first one. The angle looks more interesting and a bit focus. I like the colour and the contrast. Good job, shawn!
