    Re: 1st location shoot

That blemish needs to be removed from #1. I think #5 is best in terms of a composed portrait, although I wish her lips weren't so soft. I have to admit that I'm a bit distracted by the depressed presentation of the rest of them.
    mostly Nikon gear

Feel free to edit my images for critique, just let me know what you did.

    Re: 1st location shoot

    #5 is the best,
seems like blurr was added in PP and it is a bit too much around her chin and neck, I also like the skin tone

the next ones in my rating would be #4, the arm holding her hair may as well be somebody else's, she got terrific big blue eyes but the eye makeup makes her look really sad, light is soft, the shadow under her left eye can be improved

next will be #6, again nice light, we can see her large eyes, the angle fo the face is not flattering for the shape of her face

#2 nice setup by the window, light is to harsh on her face and arm

#1 ... hmm , maybe she can look happier ? her expression or lack of it, maybe appropriate for a government document, light directly on her face is not flattering

#3 she seems to be saying "I got a headache"

there is a terrific sticky in the lighting forum , with plenty of recomendations for flash and portraits
