1.5 year vacation or hell (when fools rush in)

Here is an interesting before/after shot. At the start of last year we undertook major renovations of a plantation house that is almost 300 years old. On the first day the contractor managed to collapse a suspended room inside the house so I decided to stay out of my office and oversee the project myself.. It was my first time doing something like it and cetainly a HUGE learning experience, now that I look at before and after shots I'm more aware of the saying "when fools rush in!" :D

Nice comparison, but I think it would've been neat to have the same angle, same time of day, and a more wider angle view so you could see trees and other landmarks. Nice idea,
