Looking for a form to release my image to client
One of my wedding couples want to inlude one of their engagment photos that I took for them on the front of their wedding invitations. The company that is going to print the invitations has requested a release form from me so that they can reproduse this image. All I have been able to find are model release forms. Anybody got one they want to share or a link to one. I have got one that I made by myself on my letterhead but I would like to see other "samples.
Thanks,
Tom

What you need is a copyright form. Some bookstores contain legal forms as well as forms at the back of booklets dealing with law issues. In a large book store, you should certainly be able to a section dealing with legal issues for photojournalists or copyright.

A few local photographers just write up a simple letter stating that they are releasing the copyright to the images, include a contact number, and sign it. When my fraternity had their Ten Year Celebration in April of 2005, the photographer that was hired for the event sent that type of copyright release with the images.

You are right, masdog. There is nothing wrong with keeping it simple.
