I recently purchased a used Pentax PZ-1P SLR on line. The pop up flash doesn't pop up. You have to push the release button then lift with finger nail. I asked the seller about this I knew this could be a problem. It was very close to end of bidding and I didn't receive a reply. So know I have a camera that the flash doesn't work properly. In short I know Pentax doesn't support this camera anymore. Is a repair service who is capable of repairing this camera?? It seems to me it must be a worn or broken spring. Its a mechanical function and should be repairable. I live in Pa. between Pittsburgh and Erie.
    Thank you,

It may be repairable, but is the time and expense worth doing it?
Depends on how much you paid for the camera, and how much per hour the repair shop charges.
