pink pictures

I have a pink pictures problem. All photos are soaked in pink both on the camera screen (pentax *istD) and the computer screen, and slightly shimmery.

I've had the same problem, Rache, when my battery gets low (K20D), except my whole image goes pink. Next time you notice this in your LCD, pop in a fresh battery.

Neat effect...but I know it's unwanted on everything..haha...

Anyway...welcome to PR, Rachel. I have a few questions. Has this problem just started? And is this a new camera or did you purchase this as a used camera recently?

Ron's suggestion may very well be correct. Try it and if that cures the problem, then we've all learned something new. I've never had that problem with my *ist DL, but there's always a first time. I am notorious for shooting with low battery..hehe.

Anyway, let us know what happens and we will take it from there. Good luck and I hope it's nothing more than a low battery!!!
