My new lens

Not really sure if I got a deal or not here but this lens cost me $80 from propertyroom.com. This was one of the reasons I decided to go with Pentax. The lens id a Pentax SMCP F100-300MM. The lens has an aperture ring, I believe this is a 10yr old film camera lens. I will post a shot of the lens and a few shots from my neighborhood.

That particular lens has a rep for being very soft. Its life span was quite short.
I would return it if you can. There are plenty of good lenses that can be bought close to that price range.

Ken, not sure of the exact distance but I measured it out in steps, its 150 steps from where I took the photo of the house.
Javier, Can't return items to propertyroom but like they say you buys your ticket and you take your chances. And now that I look at the two photos I think I can see a little softness.
