    ME Super, ASA ring stuck

    Hi folks,

New user here; I just bought a nice used ME Super, a camera I used to own in the mid-1980s, which I just loved. But this one...er...the ASA ring seems to be stuck. No matter how I lift and gently jostle the adjustment ring, it just will not budge from ASA200.

Does anyone have ideas on how I might go about freeing this up?

    all best,
    GS

Great Gene...sorry no one got back to you sooner...I had no ideas as this was above me. It would be nice to know what you did to fix the problem. If you would please post the fix, I would appreciate it.
Also, welcome to PR. We usually have someone who has fixed these types of probs, but on weekends, things sometimes get slow on answers. Now that you've got it working, I hope to see some posts real soon.
    Good luck,
    Ken

Thanks Ken; I took the trouble of just loosening the nut under the rewind knob, and that seems to have taken care of things very nicely.

    all best,
