K-3 first impression

Nice, quick write-up, Matt. Do you have a read on how the new sensor compares to your other camera? I am hearing really good things about the K-3 and I am hoping Pentax has a winner on their hands with this one. Canon's APS-C image quality is way behind and there's definitely room for someone else to move in on their territory.

My biggest concern with the K-3 is the continuous auto focus. It wasn't at all competitive with the K-30 and I was very disappointed, because otherwise, that camera is awesome.

I think I have us lined up for a K-3 review camera in a couple of weeks. I'll be watching what you have to say about it in the meantime. The first thing I'm gonna do when it shows up (besides doing studio tests), is take it out to a cyclocross race and see if the auto focus can hack it. If it can, then it can handle pretty much anything.

That whole Limited line is pretty nice and I'd be interested to hear how the zoom is.
