    Thinking about the E-450

Hello.............. My mom and I were thinking about buying a very small slr such as the e450. I think this is an amazing deal.

    http://www.qvc.com/qic/qvcapp.aspx/v...Case--1GB-Card

Comes with 2 lenses, with a cool looking case, body and a 1 gb card all for $600. We were thinking about purchasing it. I was debating about the e 620 compared with the e450.
Is the e620 similar in size with the e450? My primary concern is that it needs to be compact.......... I much rather have the e620 but its for my mom lol!!! But if the e620 is small when paired with a roughly small lens, might as well go with that instead. Will these cameras allow for larger lenses to be attached?

    Thanks

Yes you can get larger lenses but the two that comes in the kit should do you fine for awhile. Any lens that will fit Olympus 4/3rds will work.

I dont recommend the E-450. The E-420 and even the E-410 are a much better deal. Essentially all the same camera with minor updates.

    12-60 2.8-4.0
    40-150 3.5-4.5

How about the size of the new e-620 is it about the same size as the E-450-E-410?

    Thanks for the link

I think the e420 will do just fine for her.
