    Ordered a OM 50mm f1.8

Just ordered my OM 50mm f1.8 as well as a OM to 4/3 adapter today to use with my E420. Should have it just in time before christmas. Can't wait to put it to use. I was starting to get tired of the auto focusing with the 2 zuikos I have. Based on what I've read, this lens is perfect for what I shoot. Especially indoors with lower light. As soon as I get some decent shots, ill post them up.
    Olympus Evolt E-420,
    Zuiko 14-42mm F3.5/5.6
    Zuiko 40-150mm F4/5.6
    Zuiko 50mm F/1.8
    Vivitar 75-300mm F4/5.6
    Promaster Spectrum 7 2x teleconverter

I find this lens to be great for in tight shots... gonna try it with a macro tube as soon as I am mobile enough to get to a subject (dislocated my knee 4 weeks ago)

Just got it today. I had a quick chance to snap a few of my step daughter before my wife made me put it under the tree. So I have to wait 5 more days until I can actually play with it. Oh well Its worth the wait..

I got one coming too. But I will prubably just shoot film with it until I can afford the adapter. I bet your pictures will speed me up in getting one.

I grabbed and adapter from ebay for 18 bucks. The lens and adapter together ran me less than 60 shipped.

    Re: Ordered a OM 50mm f1.8

I done some horse trading. I got the 50mm 1.8, a couple of non Oly OM lenses, a flash and an OM10 with a couple of other goodies in the mix. I want an OM1. Maybe after Christmas.

    Re: Ordered a OM 50mm f1.8

i have mine on my e30 with me now. you'll like it. i now have to take more shots with this lens because i sold my zd 50mm....but the om is sharp and there's no hunting. i have one pic taken (that i've uploaded) with it in my flickr set of photos of strawberries in a bowl.

i can't get to flickr at work but the link to my stream is here

    www.flickr.com/photos/ntrlwmn

it's sharp enough and for less money than the zd 50.

to supplement and soothe, i bought the less expensive 35 zd macro and the rokinon 85mm
Happily photographing within my camera's limitations.Website
