    E520 and Macro

Hello everyone, a few weeks ago got my second DSLR - E520 with 14-42 & 40-150 lenses.
Since i'm used to macro photography, when i used the macro mode with the 14-42 lens i bumped in a weird situation.
The autofocus was ok as close as 25cm, which is ok by the specs of the lens. but when i handled the camera in a vertical position, it was focusing down to 5cm from the object!
Can anyone confirm this? Is this a (possible - and interesting!) bug in the autofocus system or the lens?

Are you sure you were measuring from the end of the camera [sensor] and not the end of the lens?...

Sure! I've tried several times (i've even messured with a laser distance meter from the camera - not from end of lens) but the problem was not that. Why does it lock the autofocus at different - closest - distance when the camera is in vertical position than in horizontal?

Maybe the AF is missing, and locking falsely?

I think we need a couple photos with EXIF to see what's going on.

No, the AF is locking correctly, the images are crystal clear on focus, but when i have the time (this week i work overtime) i'll upload some pic's with the EXIF data to see where is the problem.

After all i could still use my old Canon EX-EE film SLR to do macro since it has only manual focus.
